You have questions…We have answers.

What is "CBD"?

CBD stands for “Cannabidiol”. CBD is a compound in the cannabis plant called a cannabinoid. These compounds belong to a class of molecules knows as “Phytocannabinoids” (plant based cannabinoids). In fact, there are over 100 different cannabinoids in the cannabis plant, including the widely known THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) – The cannabinoid responsible for giving its user intoxicating effects. CBD is non-intoxicating and is known across the globe for its wide spectrum of medical value. Research shows that CBD can be an effective treatment against: Epilepsy, Anxiety, Insomnia, Inflammation, and more. CBD works by activating receptor sites in the brain known as the Endocannabinoid System.

What are "Cannabinoids"

Cannabinoids are part of a class of diverse chemical compounds that act on receptors in the human endocannabinoid system (ECS). Unlike THC, CBD and most other cannabinoids are non-psychoactive.

What is the difference between Hemp Oil & CBD Oil?

Hemp Oil is pressed from the seeds of the hemp plant. It is generally used in food and cooking applications, and only contains trace amounts of CBD (if any at all).

CBD Oil is extracted from the CBD-rich flowers and stalks of the hemp plant. Contains high amounts of CBD  and typically used for therapeutic purposes.

What is the difference between Hemp, Marijuana, & Cannabis?

Both hemp and marijuana are types of cannabis. The only difference between hemp and marijuana is the THC content. Hemp contains less than 0.3% THC, while marijuana is much richer in THC.

Do you test your products?

Yes. Each batch of LostLeaf products is tested for potency, pesticides, heavy metals, mycotoxins, microbial content, and residual solvents by an independent third-party laboratory. See lab reports here.

What does "Full-Spectrum" mean?

“Full-Spectrum” refers to the all of the beneficial phytocompounds in a matured hemp flower. These compounds include phytocannabinoids (CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC, & more) and terpenes. These plant compounds work together in synergy to product what is known as “The Entourage Effect”.

What is the difference between your "Pure CBD" & "Full-Spectrum" products?

LostLeaf “Pure CBD” products are made with a 99.9% CBD isolate and contain no other cannabinoids other than CBD. These products are then infused with supportive-botanicals for additional support.

LostLeaf “Full-Spectrum” products are made with a refined hemp distillate which contains a spectrum of naturally-ocurring terpenes and cannabinoids including CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC, CBG, & more. We do not infuse supportive-botanicals into our Full-Spectrum products.

Will I be able to pass a drug test using LostLeaf products?

While most of our products contain zero THC, our Full Spectrum products contain less than 0.3% THC. Due to the fat-soluble nature of THC and other cannabinoids, accumulation can result in a positive drug test.

In rare cases, even THC-free products have triggered “false-positves”. If you are concerned with passing a drug test, we don’t recommend using any of our products.

Where do you source your hemp?

At LostLeaf, we take pride in our process from start to finish. All of our hemp is sourced from sustainable, eco-friendly, pesticide-free partner farms in Colorado, USA. Our hemp carries “Certificates of Origin” for verification.

Does CBD have any drug interactions?

CBD may interact with some prescription medications by inhibiting the activity of cytochrome P450 – A class of liver enzymes. Always consult with a physician before mixing CBD with any medications.

Why is there a grapefruit warning?

CBD and Grapefruit both interact with a class of liver enzymes known as Cytochrome P450 that is involved in drug metabolism. If you have been advised against eating grapefruit, please treat any CBD products with the same caution.

What is the difference between MG and ML?

MG stands for “Milligram”, while ML stands for “Millileter”.

MG is the unit-of-measurement used to measure the concentration of CBD (by weight) in our products. ML is used to measure the volume of the carrier oil.

For example: In our 900mg Raw CBD Drops – There is 15.0MG of CBD in 0.5ML of carrier oil.

What is your return policy?

At LostLeaf, we stand behind our products 100%. We have a Risk-Free 30-day return policy. See more here.
